يتحرك النحّال بهدوء عبر الحديقة، يعتني بالخلايا بذلك الاهتمام المتأني الذي بُنيت عليه المشهد. يُصوّر الزيت على القماش الحديقة بضربات فرشاة ناعمة وطبقات متعددة، تترك الخضرة والأزهار تتلاشى بلطف عند حوافها بينما يحافظ الشكل على خطه الثابت. النتيجة قريبة من الطبيعة دون أن تكون حرفية في أي تفصيل بعينه، مفضّلة الهدوء على البهرجة. سواء عُلّقت في غرفة المعيشة أو مساحة تجارية، تمنح الجدار حضوراً مستقراً ومطمئناً بهدوء.
