يقف بائع بقبعة قش واسعة وقميص أبيض فضفاض بجانب عربة خشبية مكدسة بأصداف كونش وردية كبيرة، ممسكًا بصدفة واحدة وكأنه يعرضها للفحص. خلفه يمتد بحر فيروزي لامع يلتقي بسماء صافية، بينما الرمال تحت قدميه تحمل احمرار اللون الوردي الناعم الذي تشتهر به الشاطئ، ومتناثرة بمزيد من الأصداف عند قدميه. الضوء ساطع ومباشر، نموذجي لشمس الكاريبي في منتصف النهار، يلقي ظلالًا نظيفة ويشبع زرقة الماء مقابل درجات دفء بشرته وملابسه. هناك ثقة سهلة غير مستعجلة في وقفته، مظهر شخص قام بهذا العمل كل يوم من حياته. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش ومصنوعة حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تضيف هذه القطعة دفءً ساحليًا وحياة الجزيرة اليومية إلى مطبخ أو غرفة شمسية أو أي مساحة تتطلب مشهدًا مشرقًا منعشًا.
