تحت بدر واسع شاحب، تقف صيادة في سترة قصيرة متأهبة بين جذوع أشجار داكنة، قوس مرفوع ومشدود وهي تفحص الظلال بحثًا عن فريستها. الغابة مرسومة بدرجات زرقاء داكنة وسوداء تقريبًا، لا يكسرها إلا ضوء القمر البارد المنزلق على كتفيها وخط القوس المشدود. وقفتها هادئة ومضبوطة، اتزان شخص مرتاح تمامًا في غابات الليل. يستخدم التكوين الضوء باعتدال، تاركًا توهج القمر ليحمل المشهد كله، مما يمنحه دراما هادئة غامضة. إنها صورة جوية مبنية لغرفة يهم فيها المزاج بقدر الموضوع، من دراسة إلى ممر خافت الإضاءة أو غرفة نوم. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتُصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب هدير الليل البارد للأسطورة إلى منزلك.
