백상아리가 탁 트인 푸른 바닷속을 미끄러져 간다. 머리 위 수면에서 내려오는 햇빛 기둥 속에 강력한 몸이 잠겨 있다. 밝은 배와 짙은 슬레이트색 등은 정밀하게 묘사되었고, 아가미선과 톱니 모양의 입가가 보일 듯이 다가온다. 미세한 입자들이 물속에 떠다니고, 깊은 파란색은 캔버스 가장자리에서 거의 검은색으로 희미해져 프레임 너머로 광활한 바다가 펼쳐진 느낌을 준다. 분위기는 위협적이라기보다 차분하며, 환경을 조용히 지배하는 초상화, 힘을 비축한 듯한 느낌이다. 차가운 파란색과 은빛 빛이 팔레트를 지배하며, 상어는 살아있는 듯 따뜻하게 표현되었다. 손으로 그린 유화로, 원하는 크기로 주문 제작되며, 사무실, 서재, 해변 테마의 방 등 대담한 자연의 힘이 벽을 장식할 곳에 적합하다.
